I'm using different cards linked to my verified PayPal account and the first card I used to enroll with PayPal's Expanded Use Program is Union Bank's EON Visa Debit Card.
Unionbank EON Visa Debit Card does not need any minimum balance requirements and the annual fee for using the card is P350.
Applying for Union Bank's EON Visa Debit Card.
Go to any Union Bank branch and bring 2 Valid ID's which indicates your photo and permanent address. You will fill up the EON Cyber Account Application form provided by the bank employe.
70 pesos is the initial fee I paid during the application process for my EON Visa Debit Card. One great news is that I received the debit card during the transaction. No hassle in waiting for weeks or days to claimed the card.
After receiving your EON Visa Debit Card which indicates your 16-character card number and CVV number. Go to PayPal website and follow the steps below...
Go to the My Account tab
Click the 'Get Verified' link to confirm the debit or credit card.
In enrolling your card to PayPal for verification, you must at least deposit P200 to your EON account to cover $1.95 charge that Paypal will deduct for verification. The $1.95 verification charge will be refunded to your card after the successful verification.
By the way, EON users must go to UnionBanks' EON Cyber Account link homepage and enroll for Unionbank's online banking.
PayPal will send a generated four-digit Expanded Use number (EXPUSE) at yours Union Bank's online banking account which will appear at the banking/credit card account statement.
Go back to your PayPal account and enter the Paypal four-digit Expanded code to complete the card's verification process.
